Training Day director Antoine Fuqua is now coming on board to produce BURN RUN, with an eye towards directing at some point. Through his Fuqua Films, hes teaming up with producers Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman of The Picture Company. Thats a huge score for the action thriller that could see a bidding war break out over the course of the holiday weekend.
The story is being pitched as Sicario meets Bourne. When an intelligence leak dangerously exposes a covert mission in Afghanistan, a grieving CIA operative and his translator must find their way out of the desert, outgunned and hunted by elite special forces.
