As far as Bush being judged as a good president or not in 100 years, who knows. But it's a bit like watching a puppet show and saying, "Damn those puppets were sure good/bad actors!"

Yeah really. Its like the Wizard of Oz kinda, except with Cheney behind the curtains.

One hundred years from now, how do you think Bush would be viewed in history? Nixon is basically considered a crook, and even though Clinton had a strong sex drive, he's basically known as a good President? How about Bush? Will he be seen as a advocate of a poor nation who freed them from a blood thisty dictator or oil hungry deviant who was just as corrupt? Post peeps!

He'll be exposed on the good and bad things he has done. Just like how Nixon is the president that led the US out of the Vietname War.

I went to this lecture given by a female contemporary of Anne Coltour (She was a FOX News pundent as well -- spoke highly of Anne, but also accidentally hinted that she was a fraud). She gave a long lecture decked with the typical Neo-Conservative talking points on "family values" (and unfortunately assumed the audience was Neo-Con -- It wasn'tt: ): anti-gay, anti-gun control, talked about how Global Warming was and evironmentalists against family values. She would continually make Neo-Cons out to be the only ones who were religious.

At the end of her lecture she was questioned by the audience, I attacked her notion that America was based on "Majority rule" and that the founding fathers intended a strong executive (both claims are completely false). My friend, David, made the point that Jesus (who she kept referring too) probably would not consider capitalism a good thing, and that his teachings stressed a life of poverty far more resembling asceticism or socialism to which she replied "oh that's an argument Liberals love to make" . Whatever she was smoking, I wanted some.
