So I've been kinda strapped for cash lately, and I was wondering what places would I probably give me the most for my games? I know stores like gamestop will give you more store credit then cash in hand... but how much less exactly?

Would i be better off to go to an EB/Gamestop over a mom and pop game store? Or find an online site?

It depends. I go to the flea market and get games at a good rate, unless it's a classic game, they sill charge you $40 for a SNES game like it was brand new. For those I go to a store called Play-N-Trade where they have everything from NES to Wii, from Colicovison to Ps3 and unless a game is extremely rare, it is always moderatley priced.

Well most of the stuff i'm willing to part with would probably be...

systems:
Gamecube (i know it doesnt go for much)
Gameboy advanced
Gameboy advanced SP

Games:
starfox assault (gamecube)
star wars: clone wars (gamecube)
star wars: bounty hunter (gamecube)
goldeneye: rogue agent (xbox)
lord of the rings: two towers (Ps2)
F-zero GX (gamecube)
theme park: roller coaster (ps2)
star wars: super bombad racing (ps2)
spider-man: friend or foe (wii)

possibly some movies, a ps2, and some n64 and sega genesis games too...

Do NOT go to Gamestop. You will be disappointed if you actually expect to get a decent return from them. Ebay would be a good option but bumped up theri fees and will take a percentage of what you sell. You might do good selling on a forum like CheapAssGamer. Ive done it before and thats where Ive made the most. Here's the link to the selling portion on their forums: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=21

ebay is also give or take these days... half the time i sell stuff on ebay i feel like i don't make much of a profit :(

ill have to look into that site.. im just looking for selling something a bit more quicker... which is why i was wondering if a generic game store would give me a better return or not...

hmm i wonder if craigs list would be a good place...

If i sold all of that... and made $30-50 id be pretty happy...

but i know how ridiculous some buy back places are.... like giving you under $1 for a game... and they go and sell it for over $5.. sometimes $10 or more... that's ridiculous.

Sorry, but with the games you're looking to sell you're probably not gonna make much. To really make anything you need to sell stuff that's somewhat rare and really popular, those games don't really cut it. Might be able to sell the GameBoy's on eBay for a decent price with the DSi eliminating backwards compatability, adding some games with it would help too.

Yea im with this.

You'd be lucky to make much of anything with what u are selling there. Deff do not go to Gamestop as someone else said.

Don't go to GameStop.

Put the Gamecube and games on Craigslist. You could probably get $40-50.

What N64 and Genesis games do you have? Those might get you more. Some rare N64 games are Worms Armageddon, Ogre Battle 64, Harvest Moon 54, Starcraft 64, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Mario Party 3, and Super Smash Bros.

Most of those N64 games are $5-$10. Banjo-Tooie you might get $15 for.

Toe Jam & Earl is pretty valuable. I've seen it go for $25-$40.
