Buying eyeglasses online is quickly becoming the way to buy them. I just received my eyeglasses today and am very pleased. I was skeptical at first since the pair, with S&H, only cost me $40.

Surprisingly enough, I like the $40 pair more than the $250 dollar pair I got from a local eyeglass dealer last time. The prescription is correct, the frame is stronger, and they are more comfortable. I even received the new featherweight 1.61 high index lenses and they are what they say they are. My father's glasses, which are a lower prescription than mine, are actually heavier than my glasses.

I fully endorse buying eyeglasses online and will recommend the seller if anyone is intrested.

i really need to buy new glasses. and i founda pair online that i like. but i have really bad vision so i need high index lenses that cost a lot. i've asked some local stores, if i bought glasses online ho wmuch would it cost to get lenses put in them, and they've all said about 300 bucks. i havent found much cheaper lenses online, maybe like 200.

They won't sell just lenses though, you have to buy a frame but it is still cheaper.

nah, i prefer wearing 20 pairs of glasses before I settle on one. i actually care what i look in them.

It's not rocket science. They have pictures of the frames in the different colors and styles. Most folks go with wire frames so you can simply select the style and look at it in the different colors. Most of there wire frames come in silver, gold, grey, brown, or black. Pretty simple choices. I wouldn't recommend the gold because if it is fake gold then the inner part where your lenses meet the frame will turn green. Black and brown are good choices if you want people to notice your glasses. The silver ones attract some attention too, due to their 'shine.' In my opinion, grey wire frame glasses are the best choice. Of course, I didn't take my own advice and went with the silver ones but I am still happy with my purchase.

I always buy my contact lenses online from Lensway, f**k Opticians, too pricey.

You can pay by invoice as well, so I can still order as much as I like and not have to pay for 28 days.
