You'd be nuts not to bring in Luthor for this movie. Deathstroke would be a pretty awesome counter for Batman(Arkham Origins anyone?). Plus out of all of the villains Batman's fought, I doubt Slade Wilson would ***** his pants easily at the sight of Superman coming at him.

Plus, we just had aliens on the big screen shake things up, let's dial it down and save guys like Brainiac, Darkseid, Doomsday and Mongul etc for later films.

Lex Luthor and The Joker should be the main villains.

Lex is a given after MOS, but doing a BVS film without the Joker in it would just be wrong. And by time this film comes out, it would've been 7 years since his last appearance on film, so its not too soon.

As par as secondary villains go, I'd love to see Metallo, Mercy Graves, and MAYBE Harley, if they can do it without it being overkill.

Metallo should definitely be the threat they face in the 3rd act though.

Because Batman shouldn't be the villain in this film.

Should they come to blows at some point and/or be at odds for majority of the film? Yes. But that doesn't mean he should be the villain.

I wonder how much of a BvS movie this will be though. The way WB is hyping this up makes me wonder if there is even going to be a villain in the movie with a large role in the story.

If I said I would be okay with no dominant villian, just one that drops into the story now and then, with the rest being Clark's and maybe Bruce Wayne's development, would people dash my ideas to pieces?

It's probably unrealistic, but since it looks like both Bats and Lex need an intro, I'd use the Slade Wilson from "Arrow" to add a physical threat to build up Batman, include the "Arrow" series into the universe and bring in a character that requires less screen time. His backstory can be abbreviated rather than as fleshed as the others should be.

I'm thinking Joker, Luthor, and Metallo may be the way to go too. But that probably means no powersuit Lex, and I really want to see that.


I'm guessing that if Batfleck had a solo movie before this, and Superman had another solo movie, that the top choices for villains in this would be Joker and Lex. But since we're not getting a true MOS sequel, people want Superman villains

I don't wanna see power suit lex at all but if they do go that route, I'd prefer down the line, it's way to early to have lex be an all out villain

That's a good point. I'd like President Lex to happen, after that he can suit up in the power suit.

For a Lex, Metallo, Deathstroke story, Lex wouldn't really be a physical villain, more just the mastermind pulling the strings. He creates Metallo to defeat Superman, and hires Deathstroke to kill Batman. In the end, Batman and Superman would have no solid evidence against Lex Luthor, and his image to the public would remain positive, setting up a President Lex/power suit storyline later on.

I agree, I'd rather have an Easter Egg showing that's he's making modifications to Zod's Exo-suit and then save it for another film.
