C. Nolan's Interstellar

What's not to understand. I pretty much said the matrix is successful whereas inception is not.

You may not like it , but you can't ignore that Inception was critically and financially successful.

Goyer also talked him into Bane and Jonathan talked him into Catwoman. These things do happen. To be fair, I think it was Nolan who talked them into doing Two-Face in the second film.

Marvin's posts are funny, but that's the Anti-Nolan sentiment for you.

At any rate, I'm beyond esctatic for this. The project has an intriguing premise, and most importantly, a ****-worthy setting for a Sci-Fi film. I've always wanted to see Nolan tackle space. I'm hoping for Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Guy Pearce, Hugh Jackman, Marion Cotillard, etc. One or two of them reuniting with Nolsn again would be awesome.

And I agree. Nolan deserves his own thread.

I'd rather he'd take a break from these two for a while.

More Tom Hardy ALWAYS. :o

I'm calling Caine as a wise physicist.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Hardy in this. I could have sworn Hardy saying something about having a hunch that he was being scouted for another project while they were doing TDKR, much like how he was scouting him for Bane on Inception.

Really hope that Guy Pearce, Michael Caine (didn't he basically say he was in it already though), Ellen Page, Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy return. Maybe add someone like Benedict Cumberbatch, Javier Bardem, Jessica Chastain or Joel Edgerton as well.

You know what this film needs? Matthew Modine. :hehe:

I actually think it needs more Marion death scenes.

To be fair to Marion, it has been said that there were multiple takes of the scene. Still baffled as to why Nolan used that take though, if that's the case.

No, no, it needs Katie Holmes!

No, it needs....

It needs the guy that plays John Dagget as.......John Dagget, the evil corporate head who makes things extra difficult for our space heroes.

Or maybe we need the "No more dead cops!" guy.

But, in all seriousness, that Daggett idea isn't too bad. It needs Guy Pearce though, in my opinion. I'd love to see him in a Nolan film again and say that Memento was one of his best roles.

Maybe "the corporation" can make a cameo, expanding it's relevance across the universes of completely different films; like a cinematic "Cthulhu". From Alien to Avatar to Prometheus to Interstellar to countless others beyond.

Robin Williams always has nothing but praise for Nolan and always says how he wants to be in another movie with him

I'll be frank about Marvin. While he has his preferences and has criticisms about Nolan's films (and that's fine) but have you seen the movies Marvin likes? All art is subjective but boy, I question his tastes in general. Sorry Marv.. :p

I'm not too familiar with Marvin , but I'll be on the look out.:funny: That comment was suspect.

Also I'm really looking forward to this.
