Cake request for 3-year-old Hitler namesake denied

Symbol of swastika was actually a Buddhist symbol for thousands of years before Hitler used it for Nazi propanganda, but it's obvious that the parents aren't Buddhist at all.
funny thing, they found a swastika mosiac on the floor of a roman synagogue.

also a story:
me and my freinds were eating at a kosher chinese returant and my freinds got offended that they had a Buhhda with A SWASTIKA ON IT.
so, if Hitler (yamakh shimo) had any children the Buhhdist would sue for defamanion of there symbol.

but police or child services can't just roll up and take your kids, you have to have cause....something else has to be going on otherwise the city and state could get sued ******ed

you have to think that they're not the brightest, most wholesome people around. I'm sure that the govt did the research and found something.

The idea that the kids will suffer through life with their names is (I guess) Freedom of Speech but also it must a form of child abuse. Or neglecting their safety.

The fact of the matter is, by naming their children these names it will prove to be detrimental to their livelihood. Thanks to their parents these kids will have a terrible life and that is unfair. Also, by looking at the parents it's pretty clear they are worse than just idiots, they are definitely druggies imo. They were raising their kids in a unhealthy way obviously.

Firstly, I've noticed a lot of Hitler references lately and this is confusing to me.

Secondly, the supermarket should not have denied the child a birthday cake because his name is Hitler, they're being *****ebags and it's entirely not reasonable. The person of Adolf Hitler was a jerk but that doesn't mean that his name is automatically offensive. This would be like me disliking Barack Obama because his name is very close to Baraka and he made my life a living hell when Mortal Kombat first came to a local arcade.

Thirdly, I don't think that naming your child after one of your heroes (no matter how much of a jerk someone else thinks of that hero) should be considered child abuse. For instance I would never name my Mohammad because I think that Mohammad is a poor idol to choose from when naming a child but that doesn't give me the right to impose naming laws on someone else's kids. Obviously these people like Hitler and it is their right to like Hitler and if that means naming their kid Adolf Hitler then sobeit.

Lastly, hopefully this kid will get picked on and hate his parents so much that he marries a bisexual Jewish man. Seriously though there's no reason that the kid is going to catch that much more flak than any other kid in school. Everyone gets picked on your name rhymes with Cryin? Your name rhymes with Puke? By the time he and his peers are old enough to know who Adolf Hitler is he'll probably be going by a totally different name.

The Swastika is an ancient symbol that usually stands for peace and positive things. Not usually hatred. Go figure. :csad:

To be honest man, if a kid at my school was called Adolf Hitler then all the other bullied kids would be thanking their lucky stars. How can you seriously think that a kid called Adolf Hitler won't be abused more than someone else?

Would you **** with a guy named Adolf Hitler? :hehe:

Seriously though kids are mean and they're going to pick on him anyway, no matter what his name is, by the time they start picking on him because he's named after Hitler he'll just learn to keep his name secretive. No one knew my actual first or middle names all throughout high school because I went by a nickname. He'll do the same.

majic, let's get this straight

you think it's alright to name a kid after a hero, even though a hero in this case may be hitler?

Is that what you are saying? And you think one of the founders of one of the world's largest religions is a 'poor Idol' based on....something.

I just want to clarify your stance.

I think it's okay to name your kid after your idol no matter who your idol is. Personally I wouldn't choose a religious icon because I am not religious but I certainly wouldn't prohibit someone naming their kid Jesus, Buddha, Clinton, Mohammad or Hitler.

but you do know it's illegal to name your child jesus in the united states or in the uk for some very obvious reasons.

Are you sure? I know of people named Jesus (Hey-zeus) that were born in the US.

I wonder if they replaced "Happy Birthday" with a "Hail Hitler" chant.

IOn a different note, I just started thinking about that one scene in Rat Race with John Lovitz. One of the few times I have laughed uncontrollably.

they may be exempt, i think the hay-zeus version is the exception

but you can't go with jesus in its western pronouciation. Maybe it's different in the states then but definitely in the uk, you can't do that.

That's totally bizzare and I feel pretty sad about it. :csad:

This is possibly the worst, and best comparison/example I've ever seen...Because of the MK reference.

AS I mentioned earlier, businesses cannot refuse service based on race, color, religion or national origin under the Federal Civil Rights Act. The Americans with Disabilities Act prohibits businesses from denying service to disabled persons. States have passed their own laws as well. Other than that, businesses can refuse services.

Plus, the store that refused to make a cake wasn't the only place in Easton, PA to get a cake, especially since the family went to another store, walmart, to get their cake. So it's not like they were denied of a crucial service
