Call of Duty : World at War Wii Discussion

I ordered the game through Amazon, I haven't played it yet. What is mulitplayer like, is it worth the money??????????????

from what i read about the wii version is a ton of the multiplayer stuff was cut out and theres no voice chat which is a major turnoff for me when it comes to multiplayer games. plus they took out search and destroy, ctf, and some of the other modes

anybody thats going to be playing this game has it on the PS3/360. The Wii is a horrible system for online multiplayer gameplay, especially for a game like this

Even if you have a fairly low end pc you could probably play this game above the resolution and textures what the wii is putting out.
They would be better specifically designing games around the wii platform than multiplat games across all platforms.

No because:

1. This game was developed by Treyarch, the makers of the crappy Call of Duty titles, not the awesome ones.

2. Multiplatform games on the Wii tend to suck....hard. For multiple reasons such as inferior multiplayer, inferior graphics, typically inferior controls (when they should be superior in games such as this), etc.

3. It's Activision. We all hate Activision. I'm seriously considering on not getting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 simply because I cannot support Activision with a good conscience anymore.

Really? I enjoyed the single player game of World At War alot more than Call of Duty 4.
Hell, it was the best since the original as it was practically a remake in certain parts, the setting seemed to make alot more sense than shooting crap loads of Arabs and Russians by the bucket fulls.
Grenade spam was a pain in the **** though.

They've threatened to stop supporting he PS3 and their CEO thinks games should cost more than $50-$60.

ah ya i forgot about the ps3 thing, but they said they wanted the ps3 prices to go down so i'm not really against that. In fact i'd support that because the prices for it have been on the high end, and sony did manage to lower them. I didn't hear about the price increase tho, i heard they wanted to increase the pc prices to 60 bucks and i think thats fair since i pay 60 bucks for the ps3 version.
