Can bullet time be avoided and do you want it?

I like bullet time shots for the most part, I wasn't too keen on the Superman Returns bullet time scene on roof though. It was slow, fast, then slow again. They should have kept it at a consistant speed.. and with something like a machine gun rather than a minigun.

Smallville has done alot of bullet time shots that look quite good, if they're done on a movie budget they can be made even better looking.

if it's used I pray they use it right and it looks good...

It doesn't really matter if one likes or hates it, ZS is probably going to overuse it. I for one would love to come out of a Superman movie only complaining about the overuse of slo-mo.

if that's the ONLY thing I have to complain about I'd be VERY PLEASED!

Honestly I think Snyder really did over do it in his other films, but superman is one of the only superheros other than the flash where being able to film like that and show things awesomely at a slowed down speed is a necessity becuz they both have the capacity to move so quickly. So I say bring it on his style is perfect for the character and his superpowers.

Superman and Flash would be great for slo-mo but it has to be done right or else it work look right or work in the film

I'd rather see them come up with an original effects style for the movie instead of making something that looks like a Matrix knockoff.

with it being Snyder don't expect that. I'd be shocked if he doesn't use slo-mo
