Can someone either,

A. Tell me how to remove just the song's audio from the TASM trailer?

or

B. Send me the trailer via email with no song, just dialogue and sound effects?

I want to make a full edited version of the trailer matched to Lux Aeterna. Sounds cliche, but it was epic when I muted to the trailer audio and had the song playing on my internet browser. Ghetto video editing FTW!

Sorry if this is an illegal thread or whatever, but I didn't know where else to post it.

PM'ing you now. I also forgot to add how the **** can I add the music back into the trailer...

Bear in mind I'm on a mac. I assume I'll have to use iMovie at one point or another...

Be sure to upload the finished product to Youtube and link us to it.

Oh! Just go into iMovie, right-click the clip after you drag it into the editing area, click "Audio" and mute it.

Also, go to www.keepvid.com for Youtube downloads.

It's all one audio file. To do what you want, you'd need the original file from their editing program where each sound (music, fx, dialogue) are its own seperate files.

Then how'd that one kid replace the trailer's audio with the Raimi score while maintaining the dialogue audio?

did you need to make a new thread? not trying to be an ass, but you could of did this in the lounge thread

oh well

Make an instrumental of the trailer audio.

Import the instrumental and normal version of the trailer into Audacity. (free program) line them up PERFECTLY and invert the instrumental.

It's very easy, go to this site
http://www.vidtomp3.com/

and put the link from the trailer there, it will automatically give you the audio and not the video, you don't even have to download any programme

What he means is he wants an acapella of the trailer. lol

Lol, didn't read it all then :p, my bad.
Then you'll have to use audacity, i worked with that last year and i can say that it's not very complicated to work with

:funny:

Acapellas are very tricky though, both files need to be like, CD quality.

Then there's the task of lining them up perfectly...:csad:

Here we only did simple tasks, i don't think i even did that to take only the sound, we did simple things like cuting the sound, changing it, etc, simple tricks, but Audacity isn't too complicated, the problem is that editing the sound and lining it together needs patience
