Can we help a concerned mother?

Thanks for this, made my day.

As for advice? Tell her it won't last, there's a bit of good news for ya.

That kid must be the most popular guy in his school.

Ok, forget about trying to talk the kid out of it... talking never works.

Here's how to handle that sort of problem, start hosting parties on Friday and Saturday nights for ALL the teenagers in your son's class. Have a ping pong table, twister, lots of finger food and soft drinks. Let you son and his friends choose their own music and don't complain about the volume. Have a couple of large pizza's delivered. This encourages your son to socialize with kids his own age without putting any pressure on him to actually date any of them. He'll soon find someone on his own that he is more compatible with.

I saw this post on another board and wondered if the hype could help this poor woman hypothetically of course. The hype the freat think tank that it is, with so many life experts on it, I am sure could offer excellent advice. Thoughts fellow hypesters?

Hi there
This problem is worrying me a lot, so I will explain it here.
My 16-year-old son is dating a 54-year-old grandmother-of-three - and the age gap is 38 years between them.

I am worried about him.

They are talking of marriage and have got engaged now.

When my son is 40, she will be 78. How many 40-year-old men like the idea of a wife who is almost 80???

Can anyone help me here, I am really worried for my son.

Many thanks,
Concerned Mother - who wishes to remain anonymous.

I'd advise her to ensure that her son gets granny to sign a revised will.

He's underage. Call the authorities and let them take care of the situation. As a parent, seek for professional help for him and the parents.

Yeah, I don't keep up with the laws in those places, either. :)

He very well might be! He has a woman that loves him, financial support, and someone he loves very much to be with everynight. Take away 25 years and i would support this as a mother. I am a freak of nature so i would support this however!:ninja: (mask to conceal burns!)

.....there are just so many things wrong with this thread that I don't know which one to mention first.
