Black Widow 2

It was never in the works.Black Widow 2![]()
Where do you get those scriptsI've been reading some miscellaneous Marvel scripts I have. David Self's Deathlok isn't particularly close to the comics from what I understand, but it worked very well as a sci-fi techno-thriller.
And I'm rereading the Joe Doughrity Luke Cage script from 1996 that he wrote for John Singleton. It's got some problems, namely setting up Stryker just to kill him off on page thirty and shifting gears to focus on Moses Magnum as the main villain, but it's a decent read. It also firmly sets itself in a Marvel Universe. Peter Gyrich is a supporting character, Nick Fury cameos briefly, and references to the Hulk, mutants, and Stark's company crop up.
Whoa, I forgot about Deathlok. He was a really popular character back in the 90s, wasn’t he? I wonder why he didn’t retain his popularity like a lot of other Marvel characters.
Superman Returns sequel/The Man of Steel
Yeah it sounded horrible, and Bryan Singer can **** off but I would’ve been interested to see where the movie series went. The days leading up to Superman Returns were so full of hope lol.. then the movie came out..I don't see it being much of an improvement with starring Routh and Bosworth and Singer's rumored idea of Jason being possessed by the villain.
Wasn't there a rumor that Singer wanted Jude Law as Zod for the Superman Returns sequel? It would have just been a retread of Superman II.
Yeah. I think that was just fan casting. But I do think that Jude Law would’ve made a great Zod. Whether we needed a new Zod was another question. There was no truth to the Jude Law rumor. Zod was never considered for Superman Returns. Just Lex.

Personally, I’m of the opinion that I am not opposed to Zod as being the villain, as he can be a great villain, but I agree that Braniac deserves his moment first. Also, I’d love to see a different take on Zod than Terrance Stamp’s version. And I do think that the Michael Shannon Zod missed the mark. However, Callum Blue did a very interesting take on the character on Smallville, portraying him as equal parts military soldier and suave gentleman. Basically, he’s what you would expect when a affluent family sends a son to West Point and he excels, all the way to the White House.
