Casey Affleck will make a documentary out of Joauquin Phoenix's "Music Career"

This is THE most fascinating current affair. There needs to be an hour-to-hour live stream about Crazy Jacq and his hiphop endeavours.
 
After watching the latest 'masterpiece' of music from Phoenix, I'm not confused by all means. This has to be a stunt. There's no other way to explain it. It's a stunt. No respectible person assosicated to this would allow Phoenix to make a complete fool out of himself without knowning this is a stunt for a documentry film. I'm will to beat Phoenix is making this to show the stupidity actors have in switching careers. He freaking falls off the stage!!!! hahaha..

If it isn't a stunt, and he's completely serious, I am scared to death to think what is really going on in his mind.

Agreed...something has to be up....that fall of the stage was hilarious though intended or not.

Couple that with the fact that Casey Affleck, who from the outside seems like a nice genuine guy agreed to film this I doubt it's serious.
 
He needs to go by Leaf again and grow that beard out even more

Casey seems like a really good person and if he was a friend at all and he knew Phoenix is serious, he would have said something Joanqin that would have told him this is the worst idea ever. I know Phoenix has a music background and recorded stuff for Walk The Line and a little other things, but THIS is nothing on that level. He's not a rapper. But he's a full actor and this had to be a acting thing going on.

I laughed at the fall. That was funny. But it's only funny to me right now because I'm fully believing this is staged and an act for the documentry on a subject we have no idea about yet. If he's serious and this is no act, then that fall is scary to think about because he's obviously once again seeming like he's back on drugs and alcohol and needs to hit the rehab again. We don't need history to repeat itself with a Phoenix drug related death.

That video of him jumping up and down on stage while cheering is one of the funniest things I've seen. I mean...it's Joaquin Phoenix...rapping...
 
After seeing those clips I am starting to think they are pulling off a "Borat esque" stunt. That CAN'T be serious. =D
 
yeah after the video the chances that this is a joke got bigger.

That video...I'm sold. This is the most amazing celebrity stunt ever. Even if he's dead serious, it's still momentously hilarious.

That beard is righteous by the way. It's like a separate entity living on his face.

Exactly, I don't know if it's real or not anymore, but it's ****ing hilarious anyway.
 
If this is serious well, i'm kinda scared for him to be honest.

It's one thing for him to want to go out and pursue a musical career (which i thought would be anything but rap to be honest), that's cool... but quite another to be acting so odd :huh:

I can just see how this will go

We will hear more and more about him going off the rails and pursuing this rap career dream of his.. and we wont know what to make of it

eventually the main media people will get hold of it and start spreading the word, so the average Joe will only hear about it in a magazine

but us internet people will work out in a few weeks thats its just these two white guys doing a silly hollywood borat style film

the hype will build up just like it did for cloverfield..and sadly it wont deliver
