That would suck. The second one wasnt as good and funny as the first one by far, and even with bill murray in it. To do a new sequel almost 20 years later and without bill murray( who is the ghosbusters sould) its pretty stupid. But at least , murray is enough smart to keep away from this sequel, because he is boring about ghosbusters sequels, even he was a little boring in the second one.

I mean , they did it in 1984 and it was great, dont break that great memory and do stupid and lame sequels only for the money. The time has passed, it was great but it finished, thats its everything.

Ya' know, call me crazy but that could be a new spin on GB. Have the black guy be the main character. Winston's bastard son leads the cast.

Yeah make some black guy the main character in GB III. Write Him in as Janine Melnitz' son but she does'nt know which Ghostbuster is the daddy. The funny part is that he is black and everyone knows it is Winston's but she keeps denying it throughout. Or something to that effect.

I say don't fix what is not broke. Remake is a bad idea, the Ghostbusters in Hell is a terrible script. If anything do a new Ghostbusters movie, with different characters, yet need to obtain the original flow of the other movies, stay away from raunchy humor, and it should be a win.

Peter-Vince Vaughn, honestly probably the true choice for a remake, the guy he plays in Dodgeball is pretty much the same character, and he is brilliant at it.

Egon-Ben Stiller, I know he would be a tad short especially compared to Vaughn, and Ferrell but he has that extra gear when it comes to being nerdy and annoying and could play a goofy genius easy. If Kevin Smith where the director I would say Ben Affleck in a hartbeat, but if KSmith isn't the director, then no

Ray-Will Ferrell, not to much has to be said about this he would be a genius choice, but may take the spolight away at times from Peter

Winston-Will Smith would be a fun choice, probably a bit unrealistic but it would be fun to see him with these guys

I don't think a remake would work nor would I want to see one anyway's. No one can replace that cast. The best thing would be to move on. Half of these choices I wouldn't want in a spinoff, let alone a remake! Will Smith, Will Farrell, Topher Grace, Lando, Ryan Reynolds!?!?

Ryan Reynolds trying to fill Bill Murray's shoes would be a disgraceful embarassment!!!

As of now, the only cast I can see working in another Ghostbusters film are Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, and Jack Black.
