If there was a Justice Society Of America movie who would you want to see in it?

Alan Scott/Green Lantern- Robert Redford

Jay Garrick/The Flash- Bryan Cranston

Add some grey temples to his hair and he's just right.

Michael Holt/Mr. Terriffic- Jamie Foxx

Foxx is a great actor and this'd be a really good comeback vehicle for him.

Courtney Whitmore/ Star-Spangled Kid- Dakota Fanning

You have no idea how much i wanted to choose Kristen Bell for this. Heres why i didnt:
Courtney should be the character the audience grows up with through the trilogy, She's the viewers way into the movie Rogue style. We're introduced to her as a little kid in the first movie and by the end of the third she's a young woman and renames herself StarGirl.
Unfortunately, Bells too old for what i'd want to see.

Karen Starr/PowerGirl- Rebecca Romijn

Perhaps not the best picture but they're identical when you really look at them.

Rick Tyler/Hourman- Colin Hanks
With Tom Hanks in a cameo as his dad Rex, The original Hour Man

Carter Hall/Hawkman- Russell Crowe

Search your feelings. You know it makes sense.

Pieter Cross/Doctor Midnite- Goran Visnjic

Albert Rothstein/Atom Smasher- Jason Segel

Again, another actor whose the spitting image of the part.

Phew!
Your turn...

This is really the wrong place for this. Corp, do your thang.

Ha!

I'm going through old threads i made here and spotted this gem... Three months and ONE semi-reply?

That doesnt seem normal. What's the matter, folks? No JSA love?

It's just not in the right forum, although I do find a lot of your choices very interesting.

Thanks, Man.

That HAS to be the reason this thread's deader than dead. I can't believe for a second there arent any JSA fans on here.

Perhaps, a kind Mod could move it were it belongs?

that and i dont want jamie fox within 1000 yards of a JSA movie. or dakota fanning. or bryan cranston... all i can picture is tim watley the dentist or malcoms goofy dad

Nice.
I especially like the Duvall as Corrigan idea.

Also, THANK YOU for posting, Metamorpho1977! I was about to rename this thread "Cast The JSA: The LEAST popular thread on Superhero Hype!"

No problem. I'm a big JSA fan. Moreso of the older team, but the new group is growing on me.

for Stargirl, I saw Taylor Swift. I've met Dakota Fanning a couple of times, her grandparents go to my church. That kid is a brat from what I've heard.

cerealkiller182 great job, I only have issues with scott bakula, and stallone.

Stllone is totally type-cast
alan scott should be blonde

to be honest though I kind of think stallone looks like dark knight returns batman, with the old guy muscle and all- not saying I'd have him play it, but he has the look.

Cereal-

While I admit that I'm not as thrilled about this selection as your Avengers and JLA/DCU collages (truly inspired,) I will say that the casting of Amanda Bynes as Cyclone is spot on. She's a pretty girl and quite the character but it seems hard for her to find roles that suit her. Maxine is a perfect fit.

cerealkiller182 great job, I only have issues with scott bakula, and stallone.

Stallone is of limited ability, but when hes in his wheelhouse hes excellent

alan scott should be blonde

barely a reason. Not only is there hair dye but it wouldnt be incredibly odd for a guy with light brown hair to play the part

William B. Davis AKA Cigarette Smoking Man from X-Files for the Spectre

He'd make a good Wesley Dodds too.

I would want it to be set in the 30's
tone-watchmen+iron man,meaning slow motion shots,period piece,but not as dark,gruesome,etc,etc

well arnt they from the 40s/50s and not the 30s?
