Hobgoblin / Jason Macendale : James Spader

Spader didn't seem to age much between the mid-'80s and mid-'00s (and then did quite a bit suddenly by early 2010s) and he interestingly would be fitting for either Ned Leeds or Jason Macendale. I really like the shamelessly-ambitiousness of the TAS version of Hobgoblin, I can also see a Douglas Osborn as being particularly motivated against him.

Could work, I think Lea Thompson would probably be most fitting for mid '80s Mary Jane (unfortunate for her that she went straight from Back to the Future to Howard the Duck and interesting that she nonetheless still doesn't hate Howard).

As in The Batman , he's a killer who seeks revenge against members of Gotham Society , and his story runs parallel to the Joker's and The Phantasm's.




Ras Al Ghul : Viggo Mortensen
As In Batman Begins, he is Bruce's mentor who represents another radical "solution" to Gotham's corruption with Phantasm, Riddler, and Two Face

A fusion of The Nolan and Reeves version of the character.
He has the charm and wisdom of Caine's Alfred, but the SAS and Military training of Serkis verison.
