This must be the one I dreamed about a few years ago as I was making my way thru the old comics. I caught it on TV and thought, "Oh neat, I didn’t know there was a NM special." Then I woke up and quickly realized if such a thing had ever existed, there's no way in hell it would’ve escaped my notice.

I think that they're several Marvel Comics stories and characters which would have been great subjects for The ABC After School Specials, especially in the 80s.
Their budgets we're super big, so they would have been limited in terms of Fx, but it would have been awesome to see an X Men or Spiderman story adapted as a live action special .

Gwen Stacy only seemed really aloof/cold popular girl her first 10 or so issues but I can see Tara Reid starting out that way and growing beyond it while also still seeming understandably very appealing/popular. Though I probably would more go with Julia Stiles as Gwen.

John Glover could be good as Miles Warren, I really like your idea of William B. Davis as '90s Miles Warren/Jackal, initially pretty nice/decent/even appealing mentor and gradually growing more obsessed and dark and unreasonable.

Another slam dunk! I can't stop looking at this one. I would also accept Liam Neeson as Capt. Smith (Cromwell was 57, Neeson would've been about 54), but Harris is a fabulous pick for a late-reveal big bad.
