Yeah, for sure, I could see Neal McDonough in the role.
Looking at the really old posts above, I think the premise sounds cheesier on paper. The cyborgs were creepy as hell and I think they could look really intimidating on film if done right.
Come on, if this thing was chasing you, wouldn't you **** your pants?
It really just comes down to execution. You don't want someone like Paul W.S. Anderson directing, otherwise you end up with the Resident Evil movies. You need someone who can turn this into a solid A-list film that doesn't feel like a bad video game adaptation. Not sure who I would pick, but it has to be someone who is good at both making strong action as well as horror and blending them together.
Also, I'd have to say that Return to Castle Wolfenstein is by far my favorite. Although I did very much enjoy Wolfenstein:The New Order, it did feel a little bland and unmemorable.
