I don't see that as evidence for her knowing. Plus, if that turns out to be the reason behind it, MJ suddenly becomes a really shallow hero-worshipper. And she'd probably be acting more in awe, having less suave sexiness. There's no solid evidence--just easily discreditable circumstantial evidence. But I guess we'll see.

Isn't it more a flash forward at the start since the whole episode has a normal time line but the pre-credit sequence shows a segment of the climax?

I think she does know about Peter and a reason for liking him could be "hero worship" but her knowing can be taken as her knowing the real Peter and liking him as person.

I read an interesting post that indicated that generally speaking a mafia type boss would not usually refer to themselves in the third person; this protects them when talking to someone who is wired.

Exactly, those in Organized Crime always speak in some manner of code, never outright saying things. To protect them from wiretaps and so if their subordinates get captured, they cannot under oath say the boss specifically told them to kill someone.

Look at the way Tony Soprano issues orders.

Interesting that Robbie told Ned Lee to follow through with the angle to find out who Spider-Man is. This could setup some classic Robbie Cap Stacy meetings on discuss Spidey's ID.

I felt bad for Gwen, but even though she did want to ask Peter to the formal, fact is, she never did ask. Anyone else get the feeling Gwen wants to deck MJ?

And Sally was more of a cold hearted word that rhymes with stitch than usual. I mean, man, girl was just being nasty. Rand deserves better than her. Loved how MJ just stole him for a dance right in front of Sally. Oh that was priceless.

I think the formula Harry was drinking was a weaker version of the one that turned Norman into the goblin.

Seeing as how Hary was still covered in purple after the Goblin attacked, I think it was Norman. I think if Harry were to turn into Gobby, he would at least clean himself up a little....
 
Anothe reason that I think Harry isn't the Green Goblin is because why would he turn into the Green Goblin and go after Tombstone when really he's mad about Glory getting back togeather with Kenny? He probably just took it to heal the pain.

Yes plus, I'm pretty sure the glider would be in an area where a code would have to be put in to get to.
 
Good episode. I loved the dialog, the fight scene and the the stuff between Tombstone/Spider-man and Peter/MJ.

The only questions I have are is Tombstone really Big man and im guessing Harry isnt the Green Goblin but there is still the chance.
 
God, what a b**** is Glory, huh? Way to ditch the guy who went all out to go out on a date with you for the fatty with his lame-o tuxedo shirt, who treated you like crap to begin with. It's your fault Harry ends up dying, Glory.

May have gotten a bit ahead of myself...
 
I really hope that when spidey faces the "Sinister Six" for the second time,and he doesn't have the symbiote to help him this time,I hope ythat he gets help from Harry as the Green Goblin.

It would be so awesome to see these two take them on.

Yeah, it seemed like Glory completely forgot about Harry, which was defenitley wrong for her to do.
 
I give the episode a 10.
the Goblin rocked, Tombstone rocked, Spidey rocked, and specially MJ rocked.
and I thought the episode would be below my expectations...
it was funny and had awesome action.
by the way...I doubt that Harry is the Goblin.

This show is geared more towards kids than the 90's show was.

There is no way they are going to kill off Gwen or anyone else for that reason. Nor will they give Harry a drug problem.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Do you mean in the first person?

What I'm trying to say is, it's kind of weird, when absolutely nobody else is around, for Tombstone to say to someone like Spider-Man (because, who could Spider-Man or Peter Parker tell?), "I offered you a fortune to do something just like that, but you just did the Big Man's work for free."

To me, that's a subtle hint that they aren't the same person. And Frederick Foswell has no reason to be in the show if he isn't the Big Man.

(Also, unrelated gripe, who else thinks they could've done a little better with how Tombstone looks? I don't know, it's the teeth, or something.)

Greg Weisman has said their will be death and tragedy on this show. He's been perfectly clear on that.
