Gwen: OK, I know its petty, but seeing Peter's date crowed along with Flash makes me smile.

Ooooo that was mean thing to say. Guess we'll see how Gwen reacts when MJ transfers to M3 and starts flirting with Peter.

^ Speaking of that, I'm loving how many problems Peter is having with Gwen and MJ. Gwen likes peter, but Peter doesn't know it, MJ is flirting with Peter though. I just really can't wait to see the future of these things.

thats probably what they'll do but its pretty stupid. I mean Norman becomes super powerful and Harry only gets slightly better at football? he barely made the team. he should have just taken steroids there more effective lol

My guess is that it's a gradual thing. It starts out just making you stronger and faster but the more you take it, the more your screws loosen.

I think the last chapter was incredible in special the scenes of actions spider-man, green goblin is the best than the other versions
well, I want the next apartion of green goblin, he and spidey fight in the oscorp or tin Dayly Bugle

PD.. I`m from Peru, sorry my english is not perfect but I Hope you understand me :woot:

I finally saw it online (yeah extremely late) and while I can say I'm still not a fan of the voice actor for Norman/GG or that I don't like this interpretation of JJJ that much...it is all minor squibbles and nitpicking.

Quite honestly that episode was amazing. It did what Marvel has failed to be able to do since the very early 1990s, which is bring back classic Spidey (**** Brand New Day). It was simply a perfectly told classic Lee-era Spidey yarn that had all the great moments. Anything I said about this MJ, I take back. While still not my ideal MJ voice she completely nails the character and she and Peter's chemistry in this episode was perfect. I'm convinced that she knows who Spidey is. And GG and Spidey's battling was classic Lee era villain brawling and reminds me what great banter the two characters had before things got "personal." The action, the story, everything rocked. I even like how they're trying to dupe the younger audience by painting Harry as the GG. Also the little subplot between Spidey and Tombstone was really well done.

Just a classy episode that pretty much is the beginning of the usurping of the 90s AS for the throne of Spidey cartoons (albeit it could go downhill, but I hope not).

was it me or was professor miles warren mentioned and introduced to MJ in the episode

I don't know if it's Miles Warren but the Professor introduced to MJ in the episode is the science teacher we see in episode 1.

I'm curious. What are your qualms with this JJJ?

probably because he is more comic relief and less of a newspaper tycoon.

in tas, he was a serious boss, people would shudder when he was in the room and he had that geniune disgust with everything around him except for robbie where he showed weakness. He was ruthless.

jonah's been toned down alot, he used to be classed as spiderman's greatest enemy but not so much anymore....

Ok, I can see that. Still, you've gotta admit, he's one of the most entertaining characters on the show.

not really...

he's far too 2D. His pure purpose is comic relief and until otherwise, the story of his wife's murder by a masked man, his secret adoration of spiderman and a well done scorpion storyline can't come to screen.

That was Aaron Warren, Miles' younger brother. He was actually in the comics before Miles was.

That doctor who made Electro's insulation suit, Bromwell? He's from the early comics too.

I completely disagree, JJJ is meant for much more than comedy in his show. Also, when Socrpion appears, I wouldn't be surprised of JJJ makes Mac Gargan turn into the Scorpion.

Also, most Spider-Man incarnations have taken to utilizing parts of J.K. Simmons persona in their JJJ's, so you know how that is.

j.k didn't do a good job as jonah, that's the point. It's not his fault as an actor, it was just the direction the character was taken to.

those films didn't really do anything right, there's no point taking aspects of them as good points.

I mean having parker responsible for his son's wedding disaster and not retaliating is one thing. Having symbiote spidey disrespect him in his own building or even parading around in a spidey costume in his office is completely out of character.

he's not all bad, but definitely comic relief.

sure he has potential but this jonah doesn't even hate spiderman, he is simply using him to sell pictures. He's happy to have spidey written as being a hero for saving a building and made no real effort to have him as a working with goblin, even though toombes could have easily told him about the incident earlier on with spidey coming in to attack him and police having to intervene.

well he is probably going to gradually start hating spidey over time. Spidey has only been around roughly 4/5 months and havent had much interaction with him.

He does hate Spider-Man. In Marketing Forces, he loved the shot of Spdiey being defeated by Shocker.

I think Greg wants to have JJJ's hatred for Spider-Man evolve naturally as opposed to just being there right away for no reason.

Also, he's shown character and strength. The way he protected Peter from the Rhino. His obvious love for his son.

Scorpion is coming in season three, so give JJJ time.

Exactly, I mean he doesn't like Spider-Man right now, but as you said, they really are developing his hatred for Spidey.

the worst part though is that he's not even funny, even though JK Simmons JJJ was a huge departure he was at least hilarious

I think he's funny, but then humor has always been a subjective thing. For the love of god, I've seen people who don't think Stephen Colbert is funny and I find that mind boggling.
