I'm really happy with the Goblin's look. Originally he was just this annoying elf thing on a glider. The character is a lot different nowadays, and perhaps he'll evolve in this show, too, but I'm really happy with him.

Also, I'm kind of hoping that in the middle of the fight at the dance he'll get a call that Aunt May has been taken to the hospital, and he'll leave the fight to get to Aunt May, prompting everyone to call Spidey a coward.

That would be awesome, but there's one thing I disagree with, The Green Goblin has never been an annoying elf thing. He's always been a fantastic Villian and made a big impact on Peter's life. :yay:

An orc is a larger, tougher goblin. You're not proving your point there.

I just love GG for his inostensible look and even he is underestimated by his look he is very powerful and menacing. He is far better foe than Venom.

Read that caption, the Goblin is supposed to look unimposing... at first.
 
Well Goblins are supposed to be small and lanky but tough as hell.

I'm really looking forward to this one, despite GG's Irish accent. I wasn't that excited about the Rhino episode myself, but now after I've seen it, it's one of my favorites.
 
I'm looking forward to it....I'm not disappointed that Tombstone is the next villian, just hoping for another member of the Rogues Gallery I guess. Oh well, I can deal with it and enjoy the show regardless.

I'm just glad I have a reason to watch cartoons on Saturday mornings again.:woot:

welcome I'm Ironman29758. I love the Green Goblin except for the irish acent but I hope this episode will prove me wrong.
 
My gosh people we don't even know if he has an Irish accent, he spoke for a whole 2 secs.
 
yea hopefully it was just the way he said I'm the green goblin that sounded irish hopefully rest of his voice isnt like that is not oh well we just have to deal with it.
 
I'm thinking that maybe he was just talking like that to be weird, but whatever is fine with me.

Edit: I just watched the promo again, and it seems like "I" is the only thing that really has an accent.
The more I listen to it, the more I like it.

Rhino's one of my favorite villains. his episode is my fav so far.

I'm happy with this Tombstone. I never liked the character, but this one is great.
the 90's Tombstone was a total jerk, imo. but this one is a total badass. his voice, his visual, his actions. it's great to have him.

He sounded pretty Irish to me...

Maybe he's doing it to keep suspicion away from his alter ego. Or maybe it's just part of the crazy: I remember watching a special on tv about a woman who had brain damage and as a result began speaking with an English accent afterwards - as far as she was concerned she wasn't trying to talk differently.
 
If you listen to it again; "Green Goblin" didn't sound like it was said Irish.
 
I'm getting such an awesome classic Spidey and Green Goblin comic fight when I see pictures or clips of the upcoming show. :up:
 
I just wonder where is Spidey fighting the Goblin at. At first I thought it was the formal but that can't be the school's gym. Also, I think we may find out a bit more about Emily Osborn in this episode.

You never know. Add a couple of tables and a few decorations and you'd never know it was a gym, especially considering there's a spider and a goblin distracting you from seeing any gym-like landmarks.
