I know but it also made her a crybaby. Got to the point where she couldn't go a single issue without crying.

She loved Peter so much though. I mean, just look at her when she moved to france. She couldn't be there without him, so she whent back to New York. I don't think Gwen will be like that in this show and I have no problem with it at all.

Gwen was sensitive and caring in the comics, yes. And that was a good thing about her character.

But there's a difference between being kind and sensitive, and her crying all the time because she just can't bear to live without Peter. As a female, I find it somewhat offensive.

So far I think this Gwen is much better than her 616 counterpart.

Get your facts straight. That was not JMS, that was Quesada. JMS wanted them to be Peter's kids. Quesada changed it to Norman. And Quesada says the story was not wiped out. JMS wanted to erase it with OMD and Quesada said no.

Sorry for jumping in so late here and I don't know if this has been talked about already,but was it just me or did the Goblin sound like he had an Irish accent?
Overall,I can't wait for the episode,but the only complaint I have is that the Green Goblin looks a little too "cute." I know this is a kids show,but I wish they would make him look a little more scary. And from the art I've seen,I wish they would do the same for Venom.

oh sorry i forgot it was Joe Q with the norman idea but its technically wiped out due to BND if u look at it. But yea to be honost we dont know what is spidey's new 616 BND altered history now since they havent come out fully on what was changed from when peter/mj were to get married and didnt.

Yea stevens we have been talking about the whole irish thing i think i was one of the first to talk about it but hopefully he doesnt sound like irish accent when normally talking some after watching clip a few times say the accent part sounds more on just "I'm" part and all that.

Yeah, that seems very likely. Either that or Green Goblin crashes the party, Peter goes and changes into Spidey and the battle lead out side and all the way to that party or something.
