I was wondering is any comic book companies over in Ireland and U.K.? And is their any Celtic or Irish superheroes? Besides the one that Marvel and DC has.

Judge Dread/ 2000AD is British. There's a Marvel Uk that reprint stories or produce non-canon ones and I've definitely seen a DC Batman reprint series which is similar. Don't know about Celtic stuff. Soz.

Oh and obviously there's the Dandy, Beano etc but they don't do superheroes...

Quite a number.

The greatest of all UK superheroes is Bananaman, which began in a comic and later became a wonderfully silly cartoon with a fantastic theme tune.

Watch it here...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbPxRAeClJA

Here are some more Brit superheroes:

I feel bad about not mentioning Captain Britain. My dad had his first (and British) series, which was surprisingly (for a marvel UK comic back in the day) coloured. It was also the old British-sized (larger) book  I've read a couple and didn't fancy them much, but it spawned Betsy Braddock as well - Psyloche (before her bombshell days).
