Well, if you want my opinion...

Censorship can be a good thing.

I spent a month researching censorship and censorship of Catcher in the Rye for English. After all that... the poll options seems as if they're lacking. Anyway, I disagree with it in all forms. One thing I also saw while writing my essay was that most of those in favor of it never really take an in-depth consideration of what they're seeing. In most of the cases I saw, people were banning the books without even reading them. I think Catcher is one of the most ironic cases because the title even alludes to a subtle argument for censorship in the book.

Censorship should only be used in extreme matters such as terrorist threats, matters of national security and illegal activities such as child pornography. Give the FCC and MPAA the axe.

yeah those organizations have taken the fun out of alot of entertainment , i hate when they tell a filmaker what he can and cannot do.
