CGI Superhero Movies

Is it me, or am I the only one who would love a completely animated superhero movie staring our favorite superheroes? The action in them is amazing, they don't need to worry about budget, and they can do the characters perfectly from the comics. Watch these movies and tell me you wouldn't want to see a full length movie of any of these!

And given the fact Disney bought both Marvel and Pixar, that just screams Marvel/Pixar movie.

How much is the average budget of a Pixar film? I'm assuming they would have to do something similar to The Incredibles.

The idea of a CGI superhero film doesnt sound bad, it would save them the trouble of finding actors that look similar. But in a ways we've gotten a few, TMNT, and the upcoming Gatchaman film.

im also surprised why they havent done this... i dont mean for theaters, but for dvd like Resident Evil did...

all these cg game intro's are already 10 times better than any of their watered down cartoon films that come out every three months.

I'd love to see a worlds finest CGI film (does WB even do CGI films?), or even a New Avengers Pixar film (although that would require Fox and Sony to release the rights).

To be honest...i'd take CGI (if it's Pixar level quality) over live action anyday. But it would have to be super realistic looking CGI.

I don't get why some fans will beg and plead for Beowulf-style uncanny valley CG as if it's a silver bullet for any sort of production problem that can happen in live action, and yet others think it's stupid that Ryan Reynolds is wearing a CG suit in Green Lantern. Just let the filmmakers make their friggin' movies the best way they can, I say.

Bighero6 is coming up and that will be a good test for marvel,because i don't think enough superheros will ever reach the big screen movies,but alot more superhero stories could be told on live action tv,animated,cgi big screen moves and tv etc...
