There are still characters from comic books I'm waiting to see brought to the big screen because the morons in Hollywood thought they'd throw their own two cents in and ruin them...

Kingpin, haven't seen him yet, he's not black.

Alicia, the Thing's girlfriend, she is white and British.

Commisioner Loeb, he is a white old man, with a toy collection.

Det. Flass, he is a blonde well built ex-navy seal, not some gross fat guy with greasy hair.

I don't know why they do this crap. It's not a racist thing as you can see I mentioned white people also, it's just that these characters have been around for years and I wanna' see them not someone else's idea. What's in the comics is better than anything some outsider's come up with.

Bullseye's another who was really screwed up.

Pretty much all of the X-men, except for Xavier, and their arch nemesis Magneto were ruined. Wolvie was okay but a bit wimpy at times.

These characters were famous long before these writers and directors got to them. We don't need their take on them. The fans have been waiting for years to see them come to life. I don't care if it's a side kick or a main hero, or a supporting cast member, I want to see the character I've been reading for years come to life.

I don't want to sit in the theater and not know who it is till a name is mentioned then I'm like what the heck is that?!

Batgirl never even got a chance, and now with Nolan's lack of fun and imagination she won't be in one of his dull Bat-films. And no I don't want anything as bad as Shumacher's garbage but come on, these new films don't have that Batman feeling, no bat soul, no bat heart.

That new Joker is pathetic, Nolan doesn't get it, Burton did way better.

Ra's Al Ghul had Lazarus pits and was very, very old, what was with that Nolan version? Very lame, it missed out on alot of character and story there. Then there's the Scarecrow, notbad but not much either, he kept taking his mask off 'cause Nolan didn't want him to wear it in the first place. He had to be talked into it! :cmad: Why have Batman wear a costume then? What's the point. If you are embarrassed to make a comic book movie then don't do it.

And I'm tired of the mindless sheep saying it's only based on a comic it is not the comic, well that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard, they are based on them to be brought to life!

at least Sam Raimi gets it, I could get over organic web-shooters instead of mechanical, and sure Sandman's character's story was beefed up, but it was done in a good way, at least the character's are still all there and look the right way.

No more changes, and if what I hear about Galactus is true, being a cloud, then all the clean ups they did to it won't mean a thing.

Maybe you would be a little bit more satisfied if you weren't so god damn picky. Seem the only way you would like anything is if someone came up with a device to turn comic book art into real people. Then again you'd probably still complain that the characters were 3 dimensional rather than the 2d of the comics. I mean come onnnnn what's up with that? When are people going to wake up and realize what's going on? I mean it can't be THAT hard to chop the actors up into tiny paper thin pieces!!!

3d-man
the sons of the tiger
iron fist
the daughters of the dragon tigra
magnus robot fighter

I like the kingpin, I think the CHARACTER was nailed, doesn't mater what if he's black, as long as the character is translated well, yes he was a bit different, but considering the need for a TRANSLATION, rather than a straight comic to movie cut and paste, I thought it was pretty good!

Agreed wholeheartedly.

With that said, I'd LOVE to see Big-Head adapted from the comics and staying true to them.

why does race really matter? I thought that Kingpin was great as is, I thought Loeb was perfect. If the actor actress does the job well who cares what tonbe their skin is. Black, white, green who cares? In 100 years we will all probably be the same color anyway.

Iron Fist what the hell happen?

deadpool

bishop

gambit

cable

I would go see a deadpool movie. Ryan Renolds would be a good fit IMO.

Bishop and Cable would have required the X movies to include time travel. I doubt that singer would have gone that route anytime soon.. That would have been a trilogy in itself. and Ratner, well... ______________ to a ___________________ while eating a large pile of __________________ I'll let you Ratner haters fill in those blanks.

*sigh* Fanboys

Oh and love how you brought up such people being sucky on screen like Kingpin and Alicia because they're black all while failing to bring up any minority characters from the comics that were changed to white.

And you can get over "organic web" yet hate Flass because he's not blonde...

Don't get me wrong I get tierd of everyone complaining about King Pin and Alicia but aside from Chapel in the spawn movie being changed into a white woman how many miniorities have been changed?

Take the movies for what they are, and not what they should be, you'll enjoy it alot more.

Dude, I don't post much lately, but pathetic posts like yours really makes me laugh. You must be one of those people that would complain even if Hellboy had been played by an African American or if they ever make a Thundercats movie and Lion-o is not played by a white actor, even though it doesn't matter because Hellboy is RED and Lion-o can't be white, black or any other human race because he is an alien, so the ethnic background of whatever actors playing them should not even be a consideration. Your complains are ridiculous.
