yea, prestige was sweet, and i was like in shock towards the end...it was crazy lol

The book is very very different in parts. its actually one of my favorite books of all time. Nolan definetly kept the feeling of the book and the main character's personalities intact. I highly recommend the book.

I think if you look at the Prestige, the way the story was told and the way Wally shot it, you will see alot of TDK structure in there

Got an email today from building management about a movie being filmed tonight.


Tonight (Wednesday) starting at 7:30 p.m. until Tomorrow (Thursday) at 6:00 a.m.</SPAN> there will be filming of an upcoming feature film taking place near Lower-Lower Randolph & Lower-Lower Columbus streets.

Don't think they're doing anything tonight or tomorrow night. I was there last night, and one of the guys said so. You never know though.

All the street closing signs I've seen were up until 7/30 this morning.

Where are they shooting now? I saw them setting up over the weekend on Lasalle street between Adams and Jackson. Who was downtown on morning of the 6/28 watching the shooting on Randolph from the parking garages? I met some people down there that post but don't reminder the s/n. Just seeing if any of you are around. One of you was an extra the weekend before in the penthouse scene. You know who I am!

Okay thanks Sasquatchs.... I work down the street from Lasalle so i will keep an eye during the day on Wednesday to see if they shut down Lasalle southbound like they have been doing at night for the filming.

It'd be worth it anyway, I don't live in Chicago so I should ban myself from my own thread, but it's great. They said they'd be in Chicago until September/October, although they're ahead of schedule and we don't know where they are later in the week, let alone a month from now.

Hell yes it would be worth it!!! Chicago is such a great city (and the people are a lot friendlier here than in NYC).

Hmmm.... It WOULD be one of the coolest holidays ever if I got to see my fav movie getting filmed. I could so write a letter to Nolan's people and chance my arm saying I'm just coming over to see it. WHich I would be.

Yea I actually hate the Bróg, I'm more preppy than the normal punters. One bouncer gave me grief over wearing a ralph lauren shirt into the place one time. The toilets are actually a dive. Not nice.
