Drama Chicago fire

The woman pursued Shay, not the other way around, and ended up living a lie because she lacked self belief.

Meh, she's still a home wrecker. She could've said no. I mean she was pregnant. IMHO, bad form.

Huh? Severide had a tonne of women throughout the first season, including the one serious relationship with Sara Shahi's character.

I never bought that he was seriously into the ladies.

Eh, life is rarely as black and white as that, Shay and the woman had been in a seruious committed relationship before that, then the love of her life pops back up, tells her she's still gay and wants to get back together, hardly the devils work.

Ok, I don't get it, but ok.

This weeks episode was really powerful, I've said it before but such an underrated show.

The two parter with the equally underrated Chicago PD was fantastic this week, the scale of the bomb explosion was incredibly well captured for a TV show budget.

I also got the feeling they planted the seeds for a possible Chicago hospital spin-off with Dylan Baker's character returning and Amanda Righetti's guest role as a doctor.

I had no idea they were killing Shay off. :( The flashback scenes with her and Severide were really well done, she's going to be a big miss.

Does Lauren German have another show in the works or something?

Watched both new episodes yesterday. Talk about gettin' hit right in the feels :(

Ive gotta say again the rescue set pieces on this show are incredible, especially for TV. This weeks may have been the best one yet.

yeah the whole aftermath of the helicopter crash was top notch work. I love this show from what I read it is shot mostly on location in Chicago and the Chicago area.

Plus the crossovers with Chicago PD is smooth and not forced.

IMO, Marvel should take notes with their Netflix series on how crossovers can work.

Shaft. :( Damn that scene got to me.

So I am guessing they are planting the seeds for another spin-off with Severide teaming up with the Arson investigation Captain in another twist on the procedural.

yeah that scene with Wallace and his dad got me right in the feels
