I Wouldnt Jump the gun On That one, But it does Seem like an interesting idea. Maybe If Joker Phones Get Texted With Something Early tomorrow...

My guess is that Human Resources will send out texts if something is going down in the city and not just online...

I dont know usually they say to go places ahead of time so people can have time to plan and head over there...

Hey I was wondering if anyone else on the boards was attending the screening this sunday at that Navy Pier Imax at 7pm? I will be there just wasn't sure if anyone else knew about it
 
There's a screening being put on by a local comic shop, they originally had it scheduled for thursday the 17th at 9pm but for some reason had to have it changed to this sunday at 7pm at the Navy Pier IMAX. A small-medium amount of tickets were being sold to the public, and they think that since the screening had to be changed that some people will not be able to go, in that case their tickets will be resold. I would suggest calling the Chicago Comic Vault on Montrose to get your name on the waiting list for repooled tickets. This is an opportunity to see TDK in IMAX 5 days early

just called...waiting list is ridiculously long and said there is pretty much no chance of getting tickets to this thing.

thanks for the info though...seems we found out a few weeks too late...boo. do you have tickets???
 
yeah, i know people that work there so i got tickets, i should have posted this a lot sooner guys sorry, i may end up having 1-2 extra tickets though as friends that were coming in from out of town for next weekend might not be able to come in for this sunday, If i do i will post it here and try and find a rational and fair way of getting them to deserving Bat-fans! btw i don't know if any of you watched WGN tuesday night but there was a little blurb and film clip with a lot of us on the street corner staring up at the sky, me and my friends are sitting on the curb . . . here's the link: http://wgntv.trb.com/video/?clipId=...Pane=info&LaunchPageAdTag=homepage&clipFormat

I would love to see the movie 5 days early. But unfortunatly, I do not live anywhere near you.

It is a Canon S3, and the biggest knock against it is its performance in low light conditions :cwink:

When taking pictures like that, the important thing is to let a lot of light into the camera, and any camera that gives you manual control over the exposure can get you pictures like that. Those pictures were taken with a five second exposure, but the S3 lets you go up to 15 seconds. Obviously, when using longer exposures it is very important that your camera (and your subject) stays very still.

My buddy and me saw the paper boy with dreads hand the kid dressed as the Joker something. They tried sneaking off and we followed them and asked what was up. They showed us the card and said that he had told them it was "time to disperse". They just took off for their car so we went back to try to tell the crowd. What D-Bag for not letting people know.
