There are many different ingredients native to China that don't exist and aren't shipped to America. Also, the methods of making Chinese food are different here than in China. It's also more likely that the food is professionally made by people who are dedicated to the craft of making the food.

It's like searching for the best Italian food here. Sure, in New York, the local restaurant down the street may have the best you've ever tasted, but chances are, it'll never be as good as getting it in Italy, itself.

The place I order from is amazing, I think its a family owned place but I always wanted to go to china and get some there, see the difference. I went to Chinatown once and it was easily the best Chinese food I have ever tasted.

I'm trying to learn to make my own but I don't know how to replicate the yummy of the pork they use. I've got some lo mein noodles and I've got a recipe for....don't laugh...but collard green won tons.
