You know what's funny? Years ago I had a dream that they were remaking this with Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman.

I loved the original when I was little, it's a lot of fun at times and it's got some great catchy tunes but I also don't think it's some untouchable masterpiece either.

Oh, the guy that directed Matilda: the Musical is directing this? I haven’t gotten around to watching that, but I heard it’s excellent, so that bodes pretty well for this.

That’s definitely on my list of things to watch. I’m so far behind on some things and keep trying to catch up, but other shows keep coming out, so I have this huge backlog that I haven’t even been able to complete yet. I know, first world problems!

I’m going to keep working on it, though not too much that I burn myself out, until I get to a point where I can just slow down and go at my own pace.
