I mean, he had the job of his dreams... for someone to kill their family and then kill themselves, something extreme had to have happened last week.

Well, if she threatened to divorce him, take his money, and his kids it makes perfect sensewhy he would snap. Fact is, we don't know the facts. I'm hoping he didn't do it, but if he did, well......

I just find it a little silly given all it consisted of was my questioning Benoit's motivation for wrestling and pointing out that Drakon was calling my posts crap because I disagreed with him. it didn't violate any sort of board rule and yet it suddenly vanished. aren't mods supposed to remain impartial?

If Benoit did kill his family it will not make me lose respect for him as a wrestler. But I don't want to believe he would go down that path at all.

It doesn't add up at all. Lance Storm, Christian, Jeff Jarrett, Arn Anderson, Flair, Triple H, Edge, Malenko, Jericho, JBL, Stephanie, Bret Hart, and Cena all knew the man personally. Yes, he may've been private and may've not had a lot of friends. But if there was something odd about him that didn't seem right I'm sure SOMEONE would've said something.

I don't care how quiet or private a person is, there is always someone who is close to that person and could tell you everything about him/her.

Just like everyone dropped dime on Vince Mchmahon for forcing his wrestlers to use performance enhancers? Oh. Wait...that was only Terry Hogan.

Good call. Chavo, Tazz, Paul Heyman, William Regal, Finlay, Booker, Raven, and Diamond Dallas Page all knew him personally as well. So as I said, either the man was a great actor or something really, really horrible happened that is just too gruesome to tell.

I meant him at a Wrestling event before and he was very generous and happy to sign what autographs and take what pictures he could.

I know some are gonna say its his job to be nice to the fans.

But this was after the event was over and he took the time to do this even though he didn't have too.

I still say we should hold judgement until more comes out. It was a double homicide-suicide, but nothing says Benoit is the guilty one, nor has evidence about the case come out.

Like the legal system says, INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY.

I am waiting to hear more about this before I make any judgement call.

i seriously think Kevin Sullivan had a hand in this. he always hated Chris Benoit and Nancy for what happened in WCW. he knew how popular Chris was and knew if he could make it look like chris did it it would vilify him in the eyes of the WWE and the fans.
