Chris Benoit Dead

Because for one I got tired of the constant *****ing, whining, and lies that people were saying about me. Second of all, I did it because of my own disgust of the situation.

But to see so many posters mock death and mock the deaths of Nancy and Daniel, along with the death of Benoit shows the absolute immaturity of the posters on this particular forum. Regardless of how you feel about Benoit, death is nothing to laugh at as there's nothing funny about it whatsoever.

In the end I'm shocked and can't believe Benoit did this. Out of all the people that I expected to be dead or to kill their family, he definitely never came to mind as that type of person. It's an unfortunate tragedy for everyone involved.

Now I want to see the list of people you think could kill there whole family. It seems you have given this some thought.

And where the hell was I laughing or mocking Benoit or his family?? When did I do that? There should be no remembrance for this guy. He's a monster. He gets nothing. What he has done has overshadowed everything he has achieved. I'm sorry its that simple. It should be the same for him as it is for everyone else, regardless of what they have done with their lives beforehand. People who kill their own families deserve nothing. And don't throw that "its a wrestling fan thing" bull**** at me, because I was a wrestling fan once and it changes nothing about how I see Benoit.

To be fair, the whole McMahon death thing started before all this. But ever since Benoit's death I have to give a thumbs up to Vince. Everything he has done so far has been the right thing. He gave the tribute when they didn't know all the details and they were in a bind, so that was the right thing to do. Tonight he apologized for it and the WWE has subsequently cut their ties to Benoit and will never re-air the tribute. Because quite simply, he didn't deserve it because what he has done has erased what he achieved. I didn't think Vince would go as far as he has, but I am glad he has the balls to, Benoit deserved none of that.

Yes, I am still in shock. Is that a problem for you? I am still in shock that the man I looked up to as a hero would do such a horrible thing to another human being. I wouldn't wish what he did on my worst enemy.

What he did was something only a monster would do. I understand that and I have accepted it, but as I said, it just doesn't make sense to me at all and that's why I'm still in shock. Maybe I'll never understand it and maybe no one should understand it.

In the end he, his wife, and his son are gone. They're all dead and they're not coming back. I'm not an overly religious person, but I am a christian, and the minute Benoit's soul left his body he was standing before God. In the end he's already on solid ground with his maker. It's time for us as a human race to just move on and live our life. His fate/destination has already been decided.

I couldn't believe this. I remember when he was World Champion, and they showed clips of him with his family, everything seemed perfect for him. This is so surreal. A man that I respected so much for never giving up.....killing his family. Ugh. Never saw it coming.

No, I admired the man I thought was honest, realistic, and hard working. All the documentaries, interviews, and stories I read about him made me believe he was a guy who never gave up and sent a positive message to others.

You're right, I didn't know him personally. But never in a million years did I believe he would do something this horrific. That's why it's such a mind**** for me because it just came out of nowhere it seemed like, and to me, that's what is really scary about this whole tragedy. The fact that anyone at any given point can snap at the drop of a hat and kill their family.

I know during the memorial they stated that Benoit was always quiet and was a person you could never get close to. However, he had several friends in Lance Storm, Jericho, Chavo, Triple H, Edge, Bret Hart, Dean Malenko, and William Regal. Surely they had to have known something was off about him? How long was this inside of him? Was this something that just happened over night? Do people just snap like that without any form of explanation behind their actions? Something wasn't right in his head at all and a human being would not kill his family.

It's just disturbing how anyone could do this.
