Yeah thats exactly the point. If he had to go home because of his family's illness it, then he wouldn't be affected by food poisoning at that time. Thats why I am confused as to the cause of his death if what killed his family was food poisoning. I think there is a lot more to it than that. I hope he just didn't go bat **** crazy and kill his family. And it wasn't the police notifiying the employer. Yeah my bad. I got it confused with Benoit reportedly calling WWE about his family's sickness. I don't know. The only thing worse than this being a murder/suicide deal is if its some kind of storyline.

Chris Benoit was my favorite wrestler. Best I had ever seen. I always knew that when he wrestled, no matter how it was, I'd be in for a treat. In that ring, there was nearly nothing he couldn't do. Outside of the ring he was a wonderful person, and I'm almost on the verge of tears writing this.
