Yep, Vince made the announcement himself.
He has seemed to drop the whole "death" angle.
He gets my respect for doing that.

Yeah, he gave it up. Vince was almost in tears while saying what happened to Benoit and his family and the show will be a tribute to him.

Just found out, so sad. His wife, and child as well . Heart really goes out to his other family members. He's one of the best ever to step in the ring, and gave his all everytime and entertained and gained the respect of millions of ppl in the process.

I haven't even watched in months, but I heard about the Vince storyline and figured I'd tune in tonight for some laughs. When I saw "Remembering Chris Benoit" in the corner, I immediately assumed it was part of the storyline, saying "You've gotta be kidding me. Did he blow up too?"

I stopped watching wrestling but this just sad. Benoit was a badass, he didn't even have to say anything cause he had that stare. I remember as a kid I would go around giving Crippler Crossface to my bro and friends. The Wolverine of wrestling.
