Christian School Forbids Student From Prom, Dancing

They could let their students go to any dance they want as long as the dance plays nothing but traditional Christian hymns played on the lute. Problem solved.

David didn't dance to Christian hymns. :oldrazz:

neat.. the student needs to get Kevin Bacon to speak on his behalf.. hee-hee..

if Paramount does the remake that's planned, might as well base it on this story.. the kid can have a cameo..

At my boyfriend's Christian school, if there were even rumors you were gay, the STUDENT COUNCIL would investigate the validity of them, and if they found you were gay, you were expelled.

hilarious.. just how were they supposed to go about this 'investigation'? :lmao:

recruit some student of the same sex to wink at the accused during class, lunch, or in the locker room? and if there's "a positive response", then 'Gotcha'?
:whatever:

I notice that the principal signed the waiver for the kid to attend.. if the administrator had refused to sign it, then the school would be in a somewhat better position to defend themselves-- but since they did, their position is that much weaker.. hope the slip is still intact..

Yeah, what the hell is up with that? "You're not allowed to go to that public school's prom! If you do, you won't get to go to the graduation ceremony, and you'll get your diploma in the mail! We'll probably also suspend you! By the way, here's my written permission go to."

Yeah, there's a lawsuit in the works so I hope this school has to pay for the tux rental.
