Christmas traditions

Music: Handel's Messiah.

Movies: Die Hard, Scrooged, Groundhog Day, Trading Places, Cliffhanger, Batman Returns.

Books: MR James' ghost stories, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.

Watch 'Jack Frost' every year, reminds me of a Dad that I lost. Has been an important movie since childhood.

New tradition is Christmas Eve Star Wars with family.

Lol. Nope. More just seeing Star Wars in theaters D Box style. First Force Awakens, now Rogue One.

I watch 'A Christmas Story' several times during the tbs 24 hour marathon. Usually just leave it playing in the background, too.

i have never seen this movie

Have massive rows with the family as you are all placed in one house together again for 48-72 hrs once a year and expected you can engage with each other....

oh and 'its a wonderful life' at 4 pm Christmas eve.

For my wife and me, Christmas Eve we alternate each year with our extended families. Christmas Day is spent at home, and then we go to my parents' house. After that we go see a movie. Then we do the 26th with her parents.

Get my annual DUI by driving into nearby Christmas decorations. Last year it was a Nativity scene, this year I have my eyes on Rudolph and friends.

I note that my traditional Christmas illness has returned. :yay:

I always make lasagna and we play Christmas carols on the piano. Gifts are on Christmas eve.

on Thanksgving I like to light up the ceramic tree to usher in the holidays on Christmas day I open presents and take it easy
