So what are some of you guys' favorite old school games? First Console? First video game?

I seriously LOVE the old Crash Bandicoot series on the original Playstation. I've recently re-bought them off the internet. I really forgot how fun older games can be. Especially Crash Bandicoot: WARPED. I actually got 105% on the game, all the gems, relics, and crystals. It was really fun to replay this game. I hadn't played them since I was a kid. My first console was the Playstation, first game was Crash Bandicoot/NFL Blitz. I beat everything on Crash 2 as well. I'm planning on tracking down the first one when I can. I know they're available for DL on the Playstation store, but I prefer to have the disc. :woot:

One of my favorite Old School games- Final Fight. I lost count how many quarters I spent on this game. No matter how many times I played it, I never got tired of it.

First console- Atari 2600. It was my old man's, but I spent time on it when he was at work. Yes, it had the ****** Pac-Man port (which my dad bought) and yes he also bought E.T. but there were some fun games for the console although the better ones were from Activision.

First video game- Console: Pole Position. Arcade: Pac-Man

My dad actually bought an Atari at a local gaming store quite a few years ago, he had pacman, Galaga, the Star Wars Empire Strikes Back game, a ton of 'em. But his Atari exploded about a month ago. So I gave him my old PS1, he just bought namco museum for it and plays that :hehe:

First console I played was the Atari 2600 as well. But the first game I played was actually PC, and it was the great: Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar. Still one of the greatest series. Hope its resurrected some day.

The games I played on Atari were Pitfall, and Alien heh, Alien was not so great.

But the first console I owned myself was the NES.

I started my life as a gamer with my Atari 2600 with "Demon Attack" and "Adventure"...both awesome fun, even today.

After that I got my first NES along with Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda, and Ghost and Goblins. Good times. :D

My first console was the Sega Master System. Back then, my bro and I really wanted the first NES console, but my mom offered to buy us Master System instead and we thought it was our only shot at owning our first console, so we said yes. There were some interesting titles, but to this day I still regret that our first console wasn't NES.

First console I played, was the Atari 2600.

I remember playing Pac-Man, Spider-Man, Frogger, Donkey Kong, Fast Food, and Centipede alot. Superman was just too frustrating.

Atari 2600. A hand-me-down from my parents.

I'm honestly not sure what my first one was as my family had an old atari, but we also got a Nintendo pretty early on. My earliest gaming memories tho (outside of arcades) would be of SMB, Duckhunt, and Spy vs. Spy on the old Sega Master System. I also remember renting Bubble Bobble, Ducktales, and Little Nemo a lot from a rental store as a kid lol.

My first console was Coleco Vision and I think the first game I had for it was Smurfs

As a kid I have very fond memories of being in the local video store playing Captain America and the Avengers arcade machine.

First console was PlayStation. I remember me and my sister getting it for Christmas along with the first Spyro game and the Toy Story game and playing them for ages. Getting the sheep on the kitchen ledge was a ***** in Toy Story :funny:

The first gaming system I had was actually a Commodore 64..even though it was a computer, all I ever did was play games and write crappy BASIC programs.
My first real console was an NES. Though I had my fair share of intellivision/colecovision and atari 2600 gaming under my belt due to friends/family.
Now I collect consoles so I have quite a few that I never had when I was younger.

My first console was the Atari 2600. The first games I can remember playing was Pac-Man and Pitfall.

My first system was the Atari 2600. Pitfall, Combat, Berzerk, Adventure, and Stampede ruled my life back then.

speaking of which, i just picked up another 2600 today...the "Darth Vader" (all black) model.
I never had one as a kid, now I have 4 haha.

For me my, first console was the Atari 2600 also. But, in my case it was brand new, not an old system handed down by my parents or the like, and the very first game I ever played, it was Pong on a machine at the local mall. Goes to show how old I am. Been playing video games longer than most of you have been alive.
