I guess I need to know.

Based on Spiderman's behavior, It was Before he married Mary Jane.
Based on Emma Frost and Scott Summers it was after Spidey's wedding but before house of M.
Based on the convo about Kraven it was after Spidey's wedding but before his Son stepped up.

I HAVE NO CLUE WHEN THIS HAPPENED!!!!!
:down :( :down

I don't really care if it's continuity or not, I think it's great. I love to see characters who've never worked together like this. Cool combo of Wolverine and BC vs. Kraven.

Plus, nice to see Linsner get a real shot. Dawn is one of my favorite books EVER.

What the hell is he talking about?

I don't care if it's in continuity or not. Don't let that stop you from an enjoyable read. I bought it mainly because I love the picture with Spidey holding Black Cat while they're swinging and he's trying to kiss her so much: http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=8026
But still, it's an interesting book. I recommend buying it without worrying about the continuity and all that mumbo jumbo.

But I thought continuity was the all-adhesive glue that holds the Marvel Universe together, without which chaos would reign supreme?

Fine.

Don't sweat character, costume, current timeline situations not meshing -

Just enjoy the story.

I need to add that this was obviously before "regenerate from a nuke" wolverine.

Her costume is ******eder than usual
I think we need to have a discussion on the stupidity of using a word like ******eder LOL.

Anyway, I actually like many aspects of it. I definitely dig the mask and the skintight outfit. But yes, the knee and shoulder pads have got to go or at least be turned black. I like how Joe Lisner didn't overdo it with the fur on her outfit though. I personally, think he was going for more of a realistic look. If anyone wanted to show up at a convention with that outfit the materials wouldn't be hard to make or obtain.

sarcasm noted,....

Continuity IS important in 616 books. If this was meant to be OUT of continuity, then I'm good with that.

Personaly I think he was just flirting with her. It could be the current Spidey, or just before the registration act because he doesn't have the 'Gold Spider' suit.

Though I'm a little worried that the writer may not take the Black Cat seriously.
