Like I said I could be wrong. The video is a trailer, but it is really blurry. And it looks like a direct shot, its not at an angle like someone recording it while it is playing on a t.v., it is just the trailer. Why would they make a trailer blurry? That does not make much sense to me, that is the reason why I said I think it is fake. If it is not then that is way cool. Call me a skeptic, I have no problem being wrong if I am.

I was there at at Comic-Con and saw this with my own eyes as it was presented by Sam Rami himself, it is 100% real.

The reason why the angle is so perfect is I'm sure whoever recorded this sat dead center in one of the rows knowing in advance that we were probobly going to see something. Hall H at SDCC is a freakin airplane hanger, it's huge. There are two huge movie screens for showing video clips to either side of the stage, and 4 more movie screens hanging from the ceiling (2 on each side) so everyone even those way way in the back have a good view.

Rami said that he was showing this only to folks at SDCC was because he knew that if anyone understood that these are of course not finished effects but still love it it would be us. While yes the camera shooting this was pretty low rez, most of the footage on the screen was pretty low rez itself. The one and only finished effect in the whole trailer I think is the money shot of Venom at the end.

I could honestly see if they released this and it started being played by mass media, uneducated people would be like "WTF the effects in this new Spiderman moive suck!"

You got me, it's fanmade. I make a really good Topher Grace impersonation and added the "I want you to Kill Peter Parker" bit, the footage of him in church is from the movie In Good Company, and the last scene, what you think is Venom is actually from Van Helsing when Jackman turns into a werewolf.

It's Spider-Man. There are only 2 shots of Venom in the trailer, a half second flash in the mirror right at the start (You can't see it at all in the video) and of course at the very end.

The trailer focuses mostly on Sandman and Green Goblin 2 (or whatever he'll be called) with only the tease of Venom at the end.
