It's a series of footage put together for a montage ONLY to be seen at these kind of events! The CG wasn't even completed in many shots. why would they release a trailer and not have the CG finished? wouldn't the public think its just gonna look like crap? especially people at comic con who saw the trailer, they go crazy about that stuff.

The footage shown at comic-con is not going to be released officialy to the public at all.

I know this because the Guides/Mods on the official spider-man movie board say so

oh, it WILL be released, just as a 2.5 hour clip with many more scenes spliced between and the text removed

Calm down buddy. It's still a trailer because a trailer is a freaking montage of footage cut together with music to present and hype the movie. I suspect that we'll see a form of it one way or another when the theatrical trailer comes out.

how can you not realize that's an actual trailer, they made it look just like the first one, and why would they spend all that money on audio then throw it out?

If they wanted to show us footage, they would of showed us footage, it's a rough cut of a another trailer that will be coming out.

Okay, dude, calm down, no need to get your feathers ruffled up!

For us, who don't give a damn about ripping off the already filthy rich studios, a non-blurred version of the Comic-Con "exclusive" trailer is already up in... uh, in those places we, "crooks", know where to look for, so it's really no biggie. We already saw it. We're really not bothered.

I do agree about the distributors being money hungry though.. studios, not so much... but a lot of distributors are studios... soo... yeah.

If you're going to show footage.. you should expect it to be ripped... I mean all it's really doing is creating hype.. which is what they want... and who's going to sue over having footage of a teaser?? No one is going to pay to see this footage knowing that it will be released in 2 months or so anyway. I understand they are part of the overall product (movie) they are trying to sell but unless someone wants to incorporate a studios hard work into their own films.. theirs no reason to get bent up about it

but I digress.
