Someone please help me out here. Like a lot of people, I just heard the news that Spider-Man has revelaed his identity to the public. I went to Marvel's website and looked into it, and saw the actual page where Peter reveals himself. But the thing is, he's wearing his original costume. I thought he'd gotten a new (and lame as hell looking) costume, as seen in other Spider-Man books. So my question is: what gives here? Has he switched costumes, or does he alternate between the two? Has he already gone back to the original? Why did he switch to a new costume anyway? Any help here is much appreciated.

yeah, he got back into his traditional suit for his appearence in front of the world, but only for that. Because that's how people know him, and that's what he wanted to be wearing when he did it. But he will be returning to the armor suit.

The armor can change its appearance, too. So anytime you see him in his traditional costume without any explanation, you can assume that he's just shifted the armor to look like the old costume.
