I'm going to my friend's house tonight to do an alnighter of Playstation 2 playing, but my requirement is to rent a PS2 game with some good co-op action.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what co-op game I should get? (Halo I will miss thee )

I don't think there are PS2 games with good co-op, but if you have Red Faction 1, or some other game I forget, you can have fun MP.

We've both gone through the Legends games on the Xbox, but if RF I must, then RF I must. What about Half Life or Killzone (snicker) ?

I was actually thinking of Half-Life. I'd definitely say to do that one. No Killzone, that game blows.

Isnt the HL co-op a totally separate game from the first one? Cause regular HL would take us like 3 weeks.

I actually had fun playing 2-player Killzone unlike that piece of s**t single player mode. No where near the amount of fun I had with the multiplayer of FarCry on a LAN connection, but still some good fun.

I'm not totally sure as I've never played it. I know somewhere in the PS2 version you play as an alien (teh 4rbit3r!@*@) but as far as I know, it could be either.

Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks might be a good idea too. That seemed MADE for co-op.

I don't know what this guy was talking about. There were lots of great co-op games on PS2. Dark Alliance I and II, Champions of Norath I and II, the Hunter: The Reckoning games and the Conflict games were all lots of fun in co-op. And those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

WHF has no love for any console that is not under the Xbox brand.
