This isn't necessarily a movie collaboration, but I'm kinda shocked that J.J. Abrams and Joss Whedon have never collaborated on a project. They already share writers and actors like crazy, so they have numerous mutual friends, and they did do a panel at Comic-Con together, so it's not like there's any rivalry/resentment there. I just can't believe it hasn't happened yet.
