World Collage of all the Superman actors together

I like all the pictures on this page, but SUPERBAS, you continue to amaze me with your talent. God Bless you my friend, keep those gorgeous illustrations coming...

Thank you very much! :yay:

Dean Cain certainly had the silliest trunks. Looks like he's wearing a red nappy.

Wow...Looking at them all together Reeve IS Superman, and that will never change...

I like Routh too, and yeah Wellings great, but Christopher Reeve was something else! :super:

Looking at the actors all together really emphasizes just how perfectly Reeve embodied the character. On screen he was charming, charismatic, and projected a manliness that Superman just has to have. The man was born to play the Man of Steel. With the right film and corrected suit, Routh has a chance to be memorable in the role, but SR was NOT that film. Welling does nothing for me. Too feminine a face. Cain was so-so. GR was, oddly enough, quite good. I still enjoy the old 50's series.

5 well known ones....but there was a Broadway play about Superman, and a made for TV movie in the 60's. I'm sure someone else can come up with their names faster than me.

Bob Holiday as the Stage Superman - not bad IMO.

There was the guy who played the role based on the stage show that aired in the late 60's or early 70's that had Leslie Ann Warren as Lois but I can't remember his name (and from Look Up In The Sky...) it looked pretty lame!)

I met Bob Holiday a couple of years ago at the Superman Festival in Metropolis, Illinois......he was a nice and friendly guy.

I DID NOT MAKE THIS.

I know I'm late, but man that Reeve pic is awesome, Supersebas

Strange to see so many incarnations of Superman. Probably more than any other superhero.

if you're being REALLY picky, you should include Ben Affleck. Since he did technically play superman on-screen.

I have plans to do all the supermans, but I have no time yet, meantime, here is my last work, is my bet one I Think!

Wow thats simply amazing. I have to agree this is quite possibly the best Superman art I've seen. If I may steal Showtimes idea and ask your permission to use it on my myspace page. I will put your name up under it to make sure you get credit.

You know with all the Supermen over the years.....no matter how you slice it, Christopher Reeve is still the best. I mean really it gets no better than him. He is perfect casting without question. I can't think of anyone else who naturally fits a comic superhero better than he did on screen. Others are good and have been altered but that brother just walked and embodied everything that Supes is. Superman forever baby!

I really do hope Tom Welling will do JLA in '09 as the rumors go by the way. If he chooses to change his mind about his feelings toward portraying Superman and not feel like he's gonna get sucked in to the "Superman curse" where that's the only role you'll ever play in film, I think he'd be great. I still have some high hopes for him. Brandon's great too, but being a Smallville fan, I root for Welling more than Routh.

Yeah, I like that quick slide show. I wish it could be manually stopped so you can see each Supes or at least slowed down.

By the way, I like your signature :)

I was thinking the same thing, lol. It probably can be. PM me. I want to ask you something. :yay:
