Because it's beautifully shot. I was talking about the cinematography "a few posts ago".

Ahh, I love people who talk about cinematography as if they know what it is. Let me ask...why is the action on the left, and not on the right? I mean, you have such a respect for cinematography and all..

the shot looks like its taken straight from grand theft auto 4 to me lol

They may be swerving in and out of frame on both sides. The composition itself in the background is great.

Hey, dude, did I act like an expert or said that I am one? I don't have enough knowledge to judge cinematography on a "technical" side yet, but I enjoy it for what it is, and my opinion was purely instinctive, based on my taste. That shot looks really dynamic and powerful to me, especially in motion. I just find it beautiful. There's no reason to look down to me, dude, when I didn't even act like a pro. Just respect opinion, man!

It's like when you say a woman is beautiful and suddenly the "expert" arrives and is like: "Hmm... I love when people talk about women as if they know what they are. Her facial structure isn't quite perfect. I mean, you have such a respect for women and all..."

Get off your high horse, man! :whatever:

Anyone else notice the Illinois license plate on the car? Think they'll catch that and digitally alter it?

Take it easy. He just said its a nicely photographed shot and I agree with him.

This shot alone deserves an Oscar:

This shot screams "FRENCH CONNECTION" to me personally-not at all a bad thing! We know that Nolan is trying to give the flick the crime "epic" feel of Michael Mann but I reckon there a smidge of Friedkin in there too....:oldrazz:

Has anyone noticed that it looks like the Joker has like 20 teeth? It's a lot of teeth for his front side.

Look.

Ledger may be using dentures for the movie because painting his real teeth would suck..But still. I don't know. It looks like a lot, but the other pics don't show that.

yeah i noticed that too... i figured they digitally extended his smile.
though i dont know why they would bother

that avatar rocks man...kinda looks like hes saying hippies lol

I remember thinking the same thing when the leaked picture of the same scene came out.

Eh, I see a normal set of teeth. Heath is opening his mouth pretty wide. If you look at the same pictures blown up (I think it is back in the thread a bit), you can easily count the teeth. I think what looks like more teeth are the molars in the back (which have a groove in the middle of them looking like smaller teeth).

:hoboj: - Ahahahaha!

Why is the action on the left instead of on the right? Is there even a definitive answer for that?
