Gammy v.2 said:That would be Ephialtes, Lady Leonidas
He betrays Leonidas and his soldiers after he's rejected as a Spartan soldier because of his deformed body.
Xerxes offers him girls and money and power and stuff, so there you go.
I knew it! They are making up BS about the Persians to make them look like bad guys and sell the movie. You should read the true history of the bttles before you see this movie. Why is it hat the Europeans are the good guys? Movies like Alexander, Troy and 300. Xerces basically liberated libertaed the greeks from trechery. What does the story of the movy say about the storyline?Gammy v.2 said:That would be Ephialtes, Lady Leonidas

kytrigger said:Of course the Persians are going to be seen as the villians, this is a greek tale as told through the eyes of Greeks. The Persians invaded them. Whether or not Xerxes liberated the greeks and others from treachery is moot, there has to be a villian, and he was who they were fighting.
There are two ways this story can be told. The more realistic and accurate way, and the inspirational folklore way which is the route they are going. They're not trying to be as historically accurate as possible, they are trying to make a film loosely based off of a real battle that has become legend and they are trying to make it as bloody and fun as possible.

Here is another one... of King Leonidas.

Lady Leonidas said:Zack said that there should be an official teaser trailer available in the next few months. But untilt then...
There is a one minute portion of the comic con trailer on "you tube" if you can access it.
If the link does not work, go to www.youtube.com and type in "300 - Gerard Butler". It gives you a list of items from the comic con. Click on "300 comicon trailer".
Enjoy...

rock_on said:That's not Ephilates. In the new leaked trailer, toward the end you see a glimpse of Ephialtes, and he looks exactly as he does in the graphic novel. The dude picture seems to be one of the warriors in the Persian army.
