October 30, 2006 - Perfect Dark Zero has sold more than one million copies. In Early November, Microsoft celebrates with the release Perfect Dark Zero Platinum Hits Edition. Pricing for the Platinum Edition, which includes six multiplayer maps not available in the original release, has not yet been announced. It is expected to be $19.99.
Four of these maps are currently available for free on Xbox Live. The other two maps, Facility and Ruin, will be released for free as the "Map Pack Two" download in November.
Facility and Ruin are remakes of two maps seen in the N64 Perfect Dark. The other maps included in the new edition are Plaza, Trench, Rooftops and Gas Plant.
Along with the new maps, a title update will address the "Cover Move" exploit that previously allowed players to hide within the game's geometry. If you've lived on this cheat for the past year, you are now officially hosed. Time to find a new game to exploit
