BvS Commissioner Gordon Casting Thread

Michael Ironside should play should play Metallo or Cyborg Superman or some other character who needs to have his body reconstructed, since he's always getting his arms ripped off in movies (Total Recall, The Machinist).

Well, for what it's worth. El Mayimbe hinted on Twitter months ago that Cranston had been secretly cast as Gordon. No idea if his source for that was reliable though.

as someone who's wanted cranston in that role, i gotta say cranston as gordon is a bit of a waste. way to good an actor to be wasted as a supporting actor. just like in godzilla. but i wouldn't complain. better to have him than some forgettable shmuck.

wouldn't be killed off in the first 20 minutes, so at least there's the chance that we'd see more of him in sequels, just like Oldman's Gordon.

it's not about screen time though. i think i'd prefer it if he was dr.fries hugo strange or black mask. any role would do just to have an actor as good as he is involved in this is franchise.

Cranston as Strange is interesting. I hope we get to see that character sometime in the franchise because he's one of Batman's most interesting villains.

What other role could he really play though? Actually, in terms of wasting his talent, Gordon is probably the best way to not waste his talent at this point. Luthor is cast already, he can't be a superhero obviously. Alot of the other possible characters are mostly voice over roles. I think Gordon is the biggest role he fits and he's basically the perfect fit.

What other role could he really play though? Actually, in terms of wasting his talent, Gordon is probably the best way to not waste his talent at this point.
