I dont know what the ratings are, but networks tend to do that with big rating shows, so they can hold off from ending the season and prolong viewers to come back.

I hate how America handles their TV programs, nobody, ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS...name, no network anymore just lets a show run. They stop, show reruns, return, stop waits for sweeps, return, ... just play the mother ****er!

I don't think we can expect a complete season set until sometime next year.

Even if the season did finish now, i wouldn't except them to release the Complete First Season until they where close to airing the Second season, just what TV shows do most of the time with shows that are still airing.

Here's what Lionsgate is currently planning.

After they release volume 3 of the series, they are releasing a boxed set of volumes 1-3 together which I gather will be the first 13 episodes of the series. So I think we can expect the full season 1, north American release set at some point in 2010 from Lionsgate.

If only it was being released in the UK! At the moment, they are all being sold separtely. They're very good for price though.

Greg Johnson talked about that with TheVileOne at the SDCC. He claimed that he and the other writers/producers of the show always planned to have Colossus come back in Season 1 and thus why he is promoted on all of the material for the show, but there wasn't enough time. Instead Colossus has been saved for Season 2 and they want to do a more "full" story with it. We'll see how that goes.

He is technically in Season 1. He has a cameo at the start of the pilot episode, a mention in the second and Mystique takes his form in the 7th or 8th episode.

I wish they would release the complete 1st season in the US sometime instead of making us suffer through these individual releases.

Agreed. I bought Volume 1 and 2. I really hate having to do that but I love the show too much lol

I got my Canadian Complete First Season DVD set recently at my local Wal Mart. I love the steelbook! It has special features of a gallery, bios and a commentary on episode Overflow.

I love that this is in Widescreen. I watched the first season on YTV with my kids and it was in fullscreen. It was annoying to watch the show with the sides of the picture cut off. Like the opening title with the mutant line up, characters cut almost in half that were on either end.

Can't wait to watch this on my 37 inch widescreen tv.
